It's a fun place to see a bunch of old vehicles and some cute goats. Not much of a ghost town though.
Had a great time checking out all the neat old machines, vehicles, misc rusty artifacts. Goats, chickens and the sweet senior donkey well cared for. Its not a manicured amusement park but a rustic peice of history.
This place has an awesome gas engine, antique cars and equipment, and western artifact selection. I feel like I am blasted back in time. Friendly staff and a wonderful experience.
Basically you pay $5 per person to visit a dead persons junkyard. Although there may be a few treasures there (about a dozen antique cars/trucks), the rest of the stuff would be of little interest even to the American Pickers. Don't take your wife there if you are on vacation unless she likes manly junk. As for the 'ghost town' part of it, although somewhat interesting, is all in disrepair and continuing to rot away. It won't last as long as the famous Arizona monuments unless someone restores all of it. Thera are a lot of trucks with no engines, rotted tires and misc junk spewed around even the somewhat interesting stuff.
Lots of junked cars but some Interesting stuff. The owner took us to his wood shop and showed us some incredible fireplace mantels that he sells. Big bucks, but if you have a log cabin somewhere, they would be perfect.
