A piece of the past. If your into spending the afternoon in a bit of a time warp, then this is a place you have to visit. If you can get a room in town and spend a few days, there is a lot to see. The locals are friendly and the whole town is inviting. Gosts? Perhaps!
A bit short on artifacts and a bit heavy on photographs and giant walls (literally) of text, this museum is very informative, and will give you a whole new appreciate of not just Jerome, but the whole Verde Valley area.
Really enjoyed the Museum & the film was very well done. The 2 stories of the information at the Douglas House was great. Never new the movie Oklahoma was filmed in Arizona.
Very neat museum with a lot of information about the town and its mining. Great views and picnic area!
The views are worth the admission. The museum is nice. Lots of old photos and old mine equipment. The movie is worth the 30 minutes. Probably good to set aside at least 90 minutes to get through it casually.
