Very friendly and welcoming, we showed up before they opened, Chad and Abby we're all to happy to serve us a cup of coffee while we waited for them to open. Simple breakfast at the center of town. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.
My friend and I had a lovely time here! It really is a quaint little place with an excellent view for people watching! The service we received was on-point and continuously welcoming and cheerful. The prices were more than reasonable for the quality of the food and coffee. There was music and light dancing, and I will return to this business every time I find myself in Jerome. I didn't get a picture of the sandwich we split because it was too delicious.
So glad we came here for breakfast! Intimate venue that has 3 tables and a bar that seats 4. Breakfast menu appears simple but when the food comes out, it is anything but! Owners Chad and Abby are incredible. Abby makes you feel genuinely welcome while Chad works his magic and creates amazing art with the food. The eggs are HUGE and fluffy. Actually all of the portion sizes are quite large! Remember to ask what their baked goods are for the morning as well (they are not listed on the menu because it changes frequently, but on the morning we went they had an amazing peach rhubarb pie and an excellent honey lavender lemon scone....we had both!). In the 30 minutes we were there, 14 people came in, most locals, so it's apparent this venue has a great reputation. And watching Abby interact with them like they are all family was fun to watch. Thank you Chad and Abby for an amazing experience! I highly recommend if you are in Jerome to visit The Flat iron. You won't regret it and will walk out full and very satisfied!
The atmosphere was so inviting, it felt like walking into the "Cheers" bar! The fresh food and drinks could not be improved on; they were perfection! We enjoyed our experience 100%!
So glad I went back up the mountain to this place for breakfast. Friendly staff, great space, food and coffee.
